Presenting at SIDeR conference

me_sider.jpg

Last week I had one new experience: of presenting in an international conference. The SIDeR
(student interaction design research) conference that happened in Sonderborg, DK was the
site of this premiére. My paper was about what Interaction Design could do to help in bridging
the Digital Divide gap. I believe there's much to add, to the overal context understanding and
design of new ones, and the whole experience of getting in touch with new technologies.

In general the topic that most captivate me was the importance of the link between field or
user studies and the concept phase, and how storytelling techniques can be used for this.
These techniques help in engaging people to the cases and to keep the whole teams informed
and involved with the projects.

It was also great to be able to revisit the city where we had the Design is a Game project back
in September 2006 and meet some old friends and other friends from Umeå who were also
presenting their work. We had a great time.

Filho, muito interessate sua proposta.
Conhecer os éxcluidos digitais' é importante, antes de oferecer uma ferramenta que ode se tornar uma 'faca de dois gumes'!
Parabéns pelo texto, claro e objetivo.
